Translational Session
Histological Lessons from Modern Biopsy Cohort Studies
November 08, 2025 | 04:30 PM - 06:00 PM
Location: Room 351D, Convention Center
Session Description
Numerous kidney biopsy cohorts have been and are being assembled to explore various aspects of kidney pathobiology. These data often integrate re-evaluation of light microscopic findings, digital analysis, and advanced molecular methods (e.g., spatial approaches, single-cell RNAseq). This session explores several findings that have informed classic morphologic assessment by renal pathologists.
Learning Objective(s)
- Describe the diversity of current clinical cohorts from which biopsies are collected
- Assess different approaches to analyze biopsies
- Summarize histological findings from these cohorts and implications in clinical practice
