ASN Announces New Editor-in-Chief of ASN Kidney News
ASN is pleased to announce Sam Kant, MD, FRCPI, FASN, FNKF, FACP, as the next Editor-in-Chief of ASN Kidney News, beginning January 1, 2027.
Dr. Kant is a Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician at St. Vincent's University Hospital, University College Dublin, Ireland. He has served as Deputy Editor of ASN Kidney News since 2023 and as an editorial board member since 2019. As EIC, he will provide editorial vision and leadership, oversee the development of high-quality content across the spectrum of issues important to the kidney community, and strengthen the magazine's reach and reputation.
ASN Kidney News is the society's monthly news magazine, available in print to US members and subscribers and online at www.kidneynews.org/magazine to a global readership.
