Call for nephSAP and KSAP Reviewers

On behalf of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN), thank you for your support of the society and participation in its activities.

The nephSAP and KSAP Editors invite you to become more involved in the editorial process for ASN's self-assessment programs to further enhance the rigor of the question review by applying to serve as a reviewer.

Currently, all nephSAP and KSAP questions undergo review by the Editors and a Review Panel of practicing nephrologists. ASN is seeking additional active members who are board certified in nephrology (or its equivalent outside the US) and who have been in active practice for at least five years to join the panel.

The Review Panel term is four years. Each volunteer is asked to review questions from one to two issues of nephSAP and/or a KSAP module per year for accuracy and clinical relevance. Those reviewing nephSAP questions will also have the opportunity to access the syllabus for review prior to publication.

The review process is conducted electronically through the ASN website. The time from receipt of the material to submission of your review will be approximately three to four weeks.

Interested parties should complete the ASN Call for Reviewers Form by August 30, 2021.

For further information about this panel, please contact Lisa Netha Xayavong, ASN Senior Coordinator for Self-Assessment, at lxayavong@asn-online.org.

The new Review Panel member's term is from January 2022 through December 2026.
