ASN Council Election: Cast Your Vote

The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) is now holding its annual election to determine the next members of the ASN Council, the society's governing board. With the change to the society's bylaws in 2016, this year's election is for both an At-Large Councilor and an Executive Councilor.

The At-Large Councilor will serve a single four-year term. After serving as At-Large Councilor, this individual is eligible to run again as an Executive Councilor.

The Executive Councilor will serve a single four-year term. In the first year of their term, the Executive Councilor will hold the office of Secretary; in the second year of the term, the Executive Councilor will hold the office of President-Elect; in the third year of the term, the Executive Councilor will hold the office of President; and in the fourth year of their term, the Executive Councilor will hold the office of Past President. Any member who serves as Executive Councilor is not eligible to run again as an At-Large Councilor.

Eligible members can view candidate bios and cast their vote in the online Council Ballot.

The ballot closes Thursday, September 10th. Cast your vote now!
