This session reviews the mechanisms of AKI (pseudo-AKI or hypercreatininemia) in patients hospitalized with heart failure. Experts discuss diagnostic challenges in detecting AKI, management dilemmas, and outcomes of patients who develop AKI. Novel management strategies for heart failure are also presented.
