Session Description
This session reviews the latest developments in amyloidosis that affect the kidneys. It starts with a review of the pathological features of renal amyloidosis, followed by a discussion of the necessary evaluation for patients suspected of having or diagnosed with amyloidosis. The latest treatments for light-chain amyloidosis (AL amyloidosis) are explored. Finally, new discoveries in secondary (AA) amyloidosis are discussed.
