Clinical Practice Session
Too Many Therapies for Diabetic Kidney Disease: What a Great Problem to Have!
October 25, 2026 | 09:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Four Seasons Ballroom 1, Convention Center
Session Description
This clinical practice session reviews differences in molecules that target aldosterone inhibition, as well as various incretin therapies for diabetic kidney disease (DKD). Approaches to guideline-directed medical therapies are reviewed, and a case-based discussion presents specific scenarios to clarify implementation challenges.
Learning Objective(s)
- Distinguish the evidence for different inhibitors of aldosterone
- Describe the strengths and limitations of various incretin molecules
- Outline approaches to starting guideline-directed medical therapies for DKD and the populations in which they are most appropriate
Learning Pathway(s)
- Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic (CKM) Health
- CKD Non-Dialysis
