Session Description

Patients with advanced kidney diseases face a disproportionate burden of neurologic and cardiovascular complications that are often underrecognized and challenging to manage. This session reviews stroke, myocardial infarction, sudden cardiac death prevention, and peripheral artery disease in this high-risk population. Practical insights and emerging strategies are highlighted to improve diagnosis, risk stratification, and clinical outcomes.

  • Summarize the spectrum of neurologic and cardiovascular complications in advanced kidney diseases
