Glomerular Diseases: 2026 Update
Glomerular Diseases: 2026 Update
October 21, 2026 | 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Location: Room TBD, Convention Center
Session Description
This comprehensive program highlights exciting new developments in glomerular disease mechanisms, diagnostic tools, and novel therapies. Expert clinicians and researchers discuss major mechanistic and clinical trial breakthroughs and their relevance to patient care through focused didactics, case studies, and audience interaction.
The program explores all major glomerular diseases, including IgA nephropathy, membranous glomerulopathy, ANCA-associated vasculitis, lupus nephritis, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, and amyloidosis, as well as special-interest topics such as C3 glomerulopathy, glomerular diseases during pregnancy, and nonimmunosuppressive therapies for reducing proteinuria. Two engaging clinicopathologic case conferences challenge panelists as they collaborate to solve difficult cases.
Participants gain a better understanding of the major glomerular diseases and become more confident in managing medically complex patients.
ASN designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Session Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the participant will be able to: 1) summarize treatment options, both immunosuppressive and nonimmunosuppressive, for primary and secondary glomerular diseases; 2) describe high-risk clinicopathologic features of glomerular diseases that indicate a worse prognosis; 3) analyze recent clinical trial results and their implications for patient care; and 4) discuss differential diagnoses for nephrotic and nephritic processes.
Support is provided by an educational grant from Vera Therapeutics, Inc.
